KfW repayment calculator
Simplified annuity calculation for guidance, not a binding commitment on terms. Actual KfW interest rates depend on the program and, for programs with price classes such as the ERP development loan for founding and succession (077), also on your creditworthiness. There are no price classes for StartGeld (067). As of November 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions About Repayment
How is the monthly installment of a KfW loan calculated?
Generally as an annuity loan: after a repayment-free start-up period in which only interest accrues, you pay a constant monthly installment of interest and principal over the remaining term.
What does the repayment-free start-up period mean?
In the first months (with StartGeld, for example, one year) you pay only interest, no repayment yet. This eases your liquidity in the start-up phase but slightly raises the later installment.
Are the interest rates calculated here binding?
No. The calculator uses a freely selectable example rate. You can find out the actual terms through your house bank: for StartGeld (067), KfW sets the interest rate on the day of the commitment; for programs with price classes such as the ERP development loan for founding and succession (077), it also depends on your creditworthiness.
